August 20, 2025

Possession of Child Pornography -Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Long Beach Metro Bus Layover in the city of Lynwood, regarding a person in possession of child pornography call for service.  Upon arrival, Deputies contacted an adult female (witness) who stated she was on the bus when she observed an adult male (suspect) sitting in front of her watching child pornography.  She was able to record the suspect and what he was watching on her phone.  Deputies searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him.  A description of the suspect was disseminated to patrols. The suspect was later located and arrested for the above crime.

Robbery – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station regarding a robbery that had just occurred.  Upon arrival, Deputies contacted an adult male (victim) who stated that he was waiting for the train on the platform when he was approached by an adult female (suspect).  The suspect, without warning or provocation, attacked the victim. During the altercation, the suspect was able to steal the victim’s backpack. Deputies located the suspect, and the victim was able to identify the suspect and his property positively. The victim was treated on scene by the Los Angeles County Department for his injuries.  The victim refused to be transported to the hospital.  The suspect was arrested for the above charge.

Robbery – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Maravilla Metro Passenger Station regarding a robbery that had just occurred.  Upon arrival, Deputies contacted an adult male (victim) who stated that he was waiting for the train on the platform when he was approached by an adult male (suspect).  The suspect, without warning or provocation, punched the victim in the face and then grabbed the victim’s cell phone.  The suspect was able to board an eastbound train and leave the area.  Deputies searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him.  Deputies recovered the victim’s phone at the parking structure just north of the station. The victim was treated on scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department for his injuries.  The victim refused to be transported to the hospital.  The suspect is still outstanding.

Robbery – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the local hospital regarding a robbery that occurred on the Metro, call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted an adult male (victim) who stated that he boarded the train at Union Station. Upon arriving at Sierra Madre Metro Passenger Station, he noticed several male adults (suspects) move closer to him on the train. The suspects proceeded to attack the victim by striking him multiple times on the body and head. The victim added he was hit over the head by an unknown blunt object, which rendered him unconscious. When the victim came to, he noticed his wallet, cell phone, shoes, and other items had been stolen from his person. The victim got off the train at Azusa Metro Passenger Station and asked for help. The Fire Department transported the victim to the local hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. The victim suffered a minor bruise on his forehead and no other life-threatening injuries. TSB deputies searched for the suspects in the Metro Passenger stations in the area but met with negative results. The suspects are still outstanding.

August 19, 2025

Grand Theft (Copper Wire)– No Suspect information

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Division 64 regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that unknown persons removed a portion of a maintenance hole cover at the location and stole approximately 160ft of “MCM copper wire”. There was no suspect description. The supervisor estimated the cost of replacing the copper wire to be $9,000. The suspect is still outstanding.

August 18, 2025

Carrying a Concealed weapon / Indecent Exposure – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Hawthorne Bus Line regarding a person with a knife, call for service. Upon arrival by TSB Deputies, Hawthorne PD was already detaining an adult male (suspect) matching the description in the call. Deputies contacted an adult male (victim) who said he and the suspect got into an argument while riding the bus. The victim further stated that, as the suspect exposed his private parts to him, a knife fell out onto the bus floor from the suspect’s person. The suspect then exited the bus and challenged the victim to a fight. Hawthorne PD responded to the location and detained the suspect until TSB deputies arrived and took over the investigation. The suspect was arrested for the above charges. The victim was not injured during this incident.

August 17, 2025

Robbery – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Sierra Madre Metro Passenger Station regarding a robbery that had just occurred, a call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted an adult male (victim) who stated that while waiting on the train platform, he was approached by an adult male (suspect), without provocation, the suspect struck the victim numerous times on his body. The victim fell to the floor as the suspect continued to attack him. The suspect took the victim’s backpack, containing miscellaneous items, including a cellphone and the victim’s wallet. The suspect fled the location on foot in an unknown direction and out of view before the Deputies’ arrival. A search of the area for the suspect met with negative results. LA County Fire evaluated the victim. The suspect is still outstanding.

August 15, 2025

Mental Evaluation – Patient Evaluated

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Downey Sub-Station (division 4) regarding a person trespassing call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted Metro contract security, who stated that an adult male (suspect) had entered onto the property and was hiding between parked Sheriff’s patrol vehicles. Security further added that the suspect had been hanging out in front of the division, talking to himself and muttering that someone wanted to kill him and he needed to get away.  TSB Deputies were able to detain the suspect pending a trespassing investigation safely.  During their investigation, the suspect made statements that didn’t make sense and stated that someone wanted to kill him; however, he did not offer further explanation on who wanted to kill him. Based on the statements, TSB Deputies determined that the suspect was suffering from a mental illness and contacted the Mental Evaluation Team (MET). The MET team evaluated the Patient and subsequently transported them to a local hospital for further mental evaluation.

Grand Theft (Copper Wire)– No Suspect information

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Del Amo Metro Passenger Station regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that unknown persons had stolen approximately 800 feet of copper wire. There was no suspect description. The supervisor estimated the cost of replacing the copper wire to be $20,000. The suspect is still outstanding.

August 11, 2025

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the El Monte Metro Bus Terminal regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated that he boarded a Metro bus at 1st st. and Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles (LA) when an argument ensued between the victim and a male adult (suspect) on the bus. During the ride from Downtown LA to the El Monte terminal, the suspect punched the victim, and an assault occurred. The El Monte Police Department arrived at the scene before TSB deputies and detained the suspect. The suspect was arrested for the charges listed above. The victim was treated on scene by paramedics. The El Monte Police Department will handle the investigation.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Valley Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard regarding an assault with a deadly weapon, call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated that she boarded a bus and was approached by a male adult (suspect), who started yelling at her for no apparent reason. The suspect then exited the bus and unprovokedly threw an aluminum can at the victim, striking the victim on the face, causing a minor laceration. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries. TSB deputies searched the area, attempting to locate the suspect, but met with negative results. The suspect is still outstanding.

August 10, 2025

Trespassing – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Willobrook/Rosa Parks Metro Passenger Station regarding a trespassing call for service. Upon arrival, deputies detained an adult male (the suspect), who was walking along the train tracks, causing disruptions and delays in the train’s normal operations. The suspect was cited for trespassing charges; however, he remains in custody for a no-bail warrant. The suspect was booked for a no-bail warrant.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Compton Metro Passenger Station, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted two female adults (victims 1 & 2) who stated that a male adult (suspect) believed they were laughing and making fun of him. An argument ensued between the suspect and the victims. The suspect produced a knife and a taser, threatening to use them against the victims. Deputies arrived and were able to detain the suspect. The victims were not injured. The suspect was later arrested and booked on the above charges.

August 08, 2025

Grand Theft – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Slauson Metro Passenger Station for an unrelated call for service of a suspicious person. During the call, Deputies were “flagged down” by a female adult (victim) who stated her cell phone was stolen by a male adult (suspect) while on the Metro Train.  The deputies detained the suspect pending investigation into a theft.  The victim had another cell phone and used it to call the stolen phone.  When the victim dialed the stolen phone, it rang and was recovered from the suspect. The victim positively identified the phone as hers.  The suspect was arrested and booked for the indicated charge.

Assault with Tear Gas – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies located a wanted female, adult (suspect) involved in several assaults in the city of Pasadena. On July 28, 2025, at the Allen Metro Passenger Station, the suspect sprayed Tear Gas at a Metro passenger’s (victim) face, causing injury to the victim.  A second incident occurred at South Pasadena Metro Passenger Station on July 30, 2025, where the suspect sprayed numerous Metro passengers (victims) in the facial area with Tear Gas, causing several injuries.  Information was distributed to the TSB personnel about the suspect and the incident.  On August 08, TSB deputies located and identified the suspect responsible for the above crimes. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above crimes. 

August 07, 2025

Robbery – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Manchester Avenue and Market Street, in the city of Inglewood, regarding a robbery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated she was entering the bus when a male adult (suspect) dragged her down to the floor of the bus by her hair. The suspect then snatched a gold chain from her neck.  The suspect then exited the bus and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was treated on scene by the Inglewood Fire Department for her injuries.  The victim refused to be transported to the hospital.  Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is still outstanding.

Upon arrival, deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated she was entering the station when a male adult (suspect) approached her while on a bike and grabbed her two necklaces from her neck. The suspect then fled southbound and out of view. The victim was not injured. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

July 31, 2025

Robbery (Force Used) – Suspect Not in Custody

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station regarding a robbery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated while she was on the platform waiting for the train to arrive, she was approached by another female adult (suspect). The suspect sat next to the victim on the platform. When the train arrived both suspect and victim stood up and started to board the train. Before the victim got onto the train car the suspect approached the victim and with both hands snatched a yellow-colored chain from around the victim’s neck. There was a brief struggle during which the victim sustained a minor laceration to her neck. The suspect ran down the stairs towards the A-Line and out of view. The victim was treated by Los Angeles County Fire personnel for her injury but refused transportation to the hospital. Deputies searched the area for the suspect with negative results. There is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.

July 30, 2025

Noteworthy Arrest – Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station

Transit Services Bureau (TSB), Special Assignment Unit (SAU) conducted a “Crime Suppression” Operation at the Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station. During the operation deputy personnel observed a male adult (suspect) spray painting on Metro property. The suspect was detained pending a vandalism investigation. A search of the suspect was conducted and deputies discovered the suspect was in possession of a dirk or dagger. The suspect was also in possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of marijuana for sales and possession of a switchblade. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges.

July 29, 2025

Robbery (Knife Used) – Suspect Not in Custody

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Compton Metro Passenger Station regarding a robbery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while the train was pulled into the station and stopped, a male adult (suspect) grabbed the victim’s bicycle from his grasp and exited the train. When the victim started to go after his bicycle the suspect produced a knife and told the victim “Don’t come near me!” The victim, in fear for his safety, did not chase the suspect. The suspect exited the platform in an unknown direction and out of view. The victim called law enforcement and waited for deputies to arrive. Deputy personnel searched the area but met with negative results. There is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.

Battery on Metro Security – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro Security Officers, who stated a male adult (suspect) who refused to exit the train and refused to re-tap to ride. The suspect ignored all requests made by security officers. When security attempted to escort the suspect off the train, the suspect attempted to bite two different security officers and slapped a third security officer. Metro Security was able to handcuff the suspect and waited for deputy personnel to arrive. Metro Security signed a “Private Persons Arrest” form. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Sexual battery - Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies were conducting routine patrol checks of the El Monte Bus Terminal when they were flagged down by a female adult (victim) who stated as the bus was pulling into the terminal, the victim got up to exit the bus, a male adult (suspect) passenger got up to exit the bus as well. While exiting the bus the suspect grabbed the victim’s buttocks. The victim positively identified the suspect as the person who sexually assaulted her. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Assault With a Deadly Weapon (Carving tool) – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Sierra Madre Metro Passenger Station regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Upon arrival, deputy personnel contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while he was on the platform, he got into a verbal argument with another male adult (suspect). The suspect produced a small carving tool and threatened the victim. The victim was not injured during the altercation. The suspect exited the platform and was detained by the Pasadena Police Department. The victim positively the suspect as the person who assaulted him. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Trespassing on Metro Property – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Compton Metro Passenger Station regarding a disturbance call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro security officer, who were already detaining a male adult (suspect) for trespassing. Metro security signed a “Private Person’s Arrest” form for the suspect. Additionally, the suspect was charged with violation of a parole warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges.

July 25, 2025

Battery on Metro Security – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Marine Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro Security Officers, who stated a male adult (suspect) was asleep on the floor of a metro train when they made contact with the suspect. Metro security officers went to wake up the suspect and asked him to exit the train. As the suspect exited the train he pushed the security officer. The suspect was detained by Metro security officers and waited for deputy personnel to arrive. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charge.

July 24, 2025

Robbery/Attempted Robbery – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Artesia Metro Passenger Station regarding a petty theft call for service. Upon arrival, deputies detained a female adult (suspect), who was identified by the victim as the person who took her personal belongings. Once ethe suspect was secured in the backseat of a patrol vehicle, deputies contacted the victim. The victim stated while she was parked at the Artesia Transit Center, she went to the restroom and upon her return to the vehicle she saw the suspect taking her personal belongings from the Torrance Transit bus. The victim told the suspect “Ma’am that’s mine, give them back.” The suspect in response raised a plastic cup and yelled “That’s my bag! Don’t you come over here! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill You!” Fearing for her safety, the operator entered the Torrance Transit bus and called 911 and waited for deputy personnel to arrive. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges. The victim was not injured during the incident and her belongings were recovered and returned to her.

Battery on Metro Security – Subject Cited

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro Security Officers, who were already detaining a female (subject). Metro Security Officers stated the subject had entered the terminal without paying fare. The Metro security officer attempted to block the subject from entering the platform by standing in her path. The subject then pushed the security officer to get around her. Metro security officers detained the subject and waited for the arrival of deputy personnel. During the investigation it was determined the subject was a minor. The subject was cited and released to her father.

Battery on Metro Security – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro Security Officers, who were already detaining a female adult (suspect). Metro Security Officers stated they contacted the suspect regarding fare inspection. The suspect headbutted and bit the security officers. Metro security was able to safely handcuff the suspect to the platform guard rails as they waited for deputy personnel to arrive. The suspected was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Attempted Robbery (Strong arm) – Suspect Not in Custody

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Artesia Boulevard and Hawthorne Boulevard, in the city of Hawthorne regarding an attempted robbery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while the was sitting on the bus a male adult (suspect) approached him and attempted to forcefully take his cell from his hands. The victim stated he was able to maintain control of his cell phone and the suspect let go. The suspect then exited the bus at Artesia Boulevard and fled in an unknown direction. here is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Knife used) - Suspect Not in Custody

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station regarding an assault with a deadly weapon (knife) call for service. While deputies were responding to the location, the male adult (victim) was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. Deputies contacted the victim at the hospital. The victim stated while he was waiting for the train at the bus bay downstairs, a male adult (suspect) approached him and began to make small talk and told him he had a buyer for the victim’s laptop. A short time later, the victim proceeded to go upstairs to catch the train. The suspect followed him. The suspect then demanded the victim’s laptop. When the victim refused to give up his laptop the suspect stabbed him several times. The victim ran downstairs, and the suspect fled the location running northbound on Wilmington and out of view. There is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Compton Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro Security Officers, who were already detaining a male adult (suspect). Metro Security Officers stated the suspect had entered the terminal without paying fare, refused to leave and subsequently pushed three Metro Security Officers. The suspect was detained by security awaiting the arrival of deputy personnel. The suspected was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Attempted Robbery (Knife used) - Suspect Not in Custody

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Del Mar Metro Passenger Station regarding a robbery just occurred call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while exiting the train at the Del Mar Station, he was approached by a male adult (suspect) who demanded a dollar from him. When the victim refused the suspect removed a small pocketknife from his person and held it against the victim’s stomach. The victim, fearing he was going to get stabbed, grabbed the knife and attempted to take it away from the suspect. During the struggle the victim sustained a laceration to his right ring finger. The suspect fled on foot from the location in an unknown direction. Los Angeles County Fire responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical treatment. There is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.

Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – No Suspect information

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Florence Metro Passenger Station, Los Angeles regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that an unknown person had taken 140 feet of exposed copper wire. The supervisor stated it would cost $10,000 to replace and repair the copper wire. No suspect information is available at this time.

July 21, 2025

Noteworthy Arrest – Attempt Murder Suspect

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies were conducting routine patrol checks at the Veterans/Memorial Metro Passenger Station. They observed a male adult (suspect) matching the description of an individual identified in a recent attempted murder bulletin. The suspect was contacted and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was transported and booked for the above charge.

Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – No Suspect information

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Florence Avenue and Prairie Avenue, in the city of Inglewood regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that an unknown person had taken 60 feet of exposed copper wire. The supervisor stated it would cost $3,000 to replace and repair the copper wire. No suspect information is available at this time.

July 19, 2025

Attempted Robbery – Subject Detained

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Slauson Metro Passenger Station regarding a person with a knife call for service. Upon arrival, deputy personnel searched the location but were unable to locate anyone matching the description in the call. While on the platform, deputies were approached by a male adult (victim) who stated someone on the train attempted to rob him, unrelated to the initial call for service. The victim told deputies while he was on the train from the Long Beach Metro Passenger station, a male juvenile (subject) approached him and demanded “give me everything you have.” The subject had his hands in his jacket pocket and simulated having a weapon. The victim told the subject he recognized him and began to record the subject with his cellular phone. The subject then boarded a train and waited for it to depart as deputies arrived. The subject was detained for attempted robbery.

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Graham Avenue and Nadeau Street, Los Angeles regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that an unknown person had taken 66 feet of exposed copper wire. The supervisor stated it would cost $30,000 to replace and repair the copper wire. No suspect information is available at this time.

July 18, 2025

Sexual Battery – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Compton Metro Passenger Station regarding a sexual battery call for service. Upon arrival, Metro Security Officers were detaining a male adult (suspect) for sexual battery of a female adult (victim) on the platform. The victim stated while she was on the platform waiting for the arrival of the train, the suspect approached her. The suspect without provocation slapped and grabbed the victim’s buttocks. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Battery on Metro Security – Suspect Arrested

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Norwalk Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro Security Officers, who were already detaining a male adult (suspect). Metro Security Officers stated the suspect was asked to leave the platform due to the suspect having an open alcoholic beverage. The suspect refused and remained on the platform. After several minutes the suspect became upset, grabbed a juice box and threw it at the security officer striking him. The suspect was detained by security awaiting the arrival of deputy personnel. The suspected was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Long Beach Metro Passenger Station regarding a robbery occurring now call for service. Upon arrival, deputies detained a female adult (suspect), who was identified by witnesses as the perpetrator. During the investigation deputies determined the suspect had forcefully taken a cell phone from a female adult (victim 1) while they were on the C-Line train. Victim 1 was able to regain possession of her cell phone, and the suspect fled the platform onto the street level. While on street level, the suspect attempted to forcefully take another cell phone from another female adult (Victim 2) on Long Beach Boulevard. Victim 2 was able to maintain control of her cell phone. Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the location and treated both victims at the location. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Grand Theft Person – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the El Monte Bus Terminal regarding a grand theft person call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while he was waiting for the bus at bay 18, a male adult (suspect) approached him and grabbed his pink/grey backpack that was laying on the ground next to him. The suspect then ran westbound through the terminal and out of view. Deputies canvassed the area for the suspect but met with negative results. There is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.

Trespassing on Railroad Property – Suspect Cited/Released

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Memorial Metro Passenger Station, regarding a person trespassing on the railroad tracks call for service. The male adult (suspect) was seen on Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) in a manhole prior to the deputy’s arrival. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a Metro Supervisor and determined there was no evidence of copper theft. The suspect was detained and cited for trespassing on railroad property in a manner that interrupted/hindered the trains from operating in a safe and efficient manner.

Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – No Suspect information

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Florence Avenue and Nadeau Street, Los Angeles regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that an unknown person had taken 103 feet of exposed copper wire. The supervisor stated it would cost $5,000 to replace and repair the copper wire. No suspect information is available at this time.

Sexual Battery – Suspect Outstanding

Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the 300 block of Arizona Avenue, in the city of Santa Monica, regarding a sexual battery report call for service. Upon arrival deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated while she was riding the bus, a male adult (suspect) sat down next to her. The victim saw the suspect masturbating and rubbing his erect penis against her thigh. The victim quickly got up and moved to another seat. The victim stated the suspect watched her as she moved her seat and continued to masturbate. At the next stop, the victim quickly exited the bus. The suspect remained on the bus. There is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.
